Congratulations to our women’s soccer team for winning their third consecutive Garden State Association of Christian Schools soccer tournament. Friday’s preliminary game ended in an overtime win over Veritas. Saturday’s championship game against a tough squad from Pilgrim ended in a tie. Two overtime periods would not settle the match so the title was decided by penalty kicks. In a rare but exciting finish, all five of our girls scored causing the team to be victorious. All stars were selected and the following earned an all-star medal: Autumn Crawford, Carly Malia, and Lauren Hunter. Lauren Murray was named tournament MVP. The girls are coached by Don Groot.
